My childhood journal from a trip to India had a paragraph detailing the visits from the Sabzi Walaa outside the gates of Rajo Villa. The voice of the vegetable vendor is still in my head, years later. Kind of like a farmer’s market on wheels that comes to your door. This is the first in a series of watercolor paintings I am working on for a project.
